Your Surgeon
Phillip D. Rosett, M.D., F.A.C.S., has been a leader in minimally invasive surgery since 1989. He has been one of the pioneers in the development of the laparoscopic cholocystectomy (gallbladder), laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic appendectomy and other laparoscopic procedures. He has taught these procedures throughout the United States.
Dr. Rosett is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Rush University and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is also co-director of the Bariatric Program at Mercy Hospital and a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
Clinic Staff
Lap-Band® Director PJ Stough is an active member of the bariatric community. As a weight loss patient herself, and losing 162 pounds, PJ understands the specific needs and concerns of the patient. She is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), the Obesity Action Coalition and has chaired the Northern Illinois "WALK FROM OBESITY" for the past three years. She also is a Certified Support Group Leader. PJ has the knowledge and expertise to get your insurance approved. PJ will be your mentor, your cheerleader and will be with you every step of the way.
Mark J. Moore, M.A., L.C.P.C. received his Bachelor degree in psychology from the University of Southern California and his Master's degree in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University. He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois, Director of Employees and Associates Assistance Program to CCS Control Systems, Inc. He has worked in psychiatric and addiction hospitals, community mental health centers and has significant experience working with diverse minority populations. Dr. Moore has extensive experience working with those who struggle with depression, anxiety and addiction. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
